These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of eatoutnutrition.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What EatOutNutrition is

EatOutNutrition provides free, ingredient-level nutrition calculators for select restaurant menus, built from each restaurant's own published nutrition data, along with general educational content about calories and nutrition (such as the Calorie Calculator FAQ). No account or payment is required to use it.

2. Not medical, dietary, or professional advice

Everything on this Site — every calculator result, FAQ answer, and article — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, dietary advice, or a substitute for consultation with a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified professional. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, have a food allergy, or are following a medically supervised eating plan.

3. Accuracy of nutrition data

We build each calculator from a restaurant's own published nutrition information and check standard builds against that source's totals before publishing. Even so:

Restaurants update recipes, ingredients, and portion sizes without notice, and our data may lag behind those changes.
Real, hand-assembled food varies from the standard portions a restaurant publishes.
Calculator results are close estimates, not laboratory measurements or a guarantee of the nutrition content of any specific order you receive.

If you have a severe food allergy or a medical condition where exact nutrition or ingredient information is critical, verify directly with the restaurant before ordering — don't rely solely on this Site.

4. Independence from the restaurants covered

EatOutNutrition is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Jersey Mike's Franchise Systems, Inc., Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., Five Guys Enterprises, LLC, or any other restaurant chain referenced on the Site. Restaurant and brand names are used only to identify the menus each calculator covers (nominative fair use), and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Advertising

This Site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks, including personalized ads based on cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. Ads are provided by third parties; we don't control their content, and their appearance on this Site isn't our endorsement of the advertiser, product, or service being promoted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape or systematically extract the Site's data for republication at scale without permission; attempt to disrupt or overload the Site; misrepresent Site content as an official statement from any restaurant chain; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, original written content, and the compiled ingredient-level nutrition database are owned by the Site operator, except for the underlying nutrition figures sourced from each restaurant's own public disclosures. You may link to the Site and quote brief excerpts with attribution; broader reproduction requires permission — reach out via the Contact page.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to official restaurant websites and other external resources. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its nutrition data is complete or fully current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site operator isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of health, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content — including any adverse reaction to food ordered based on a calculator result.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above revised accordingly. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Site operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
