Numbers worth knowing before you order
- Fries can outweigh the burger. A Regular order of fries is 953 calories on its own — more than a Cheeseburger. A Large hits 1,314 calories, before you've picked a burger at all.
- "Little" is the easiest cut on the menu. Dropping from two patties to one saves roughly 300 calories and 16g of protein — before touching a single topping.
- Cajun fries and regular fries cost about the same in calories, not sodium. Regular-size Cajun fries carry about 1,293mg of sodium versus 962mg for the same size plain — a 330mg jump for the seasoning alone.
- The free toppings really are free. Lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mushrooms and peppers each run 3–11 calories — the ordering line's "free" claim holds up against the published data.
- Bacon adds more sodium than fat. Two strips add about 210mg of sodium for roughly 5g of fat — worth knowing if you're watching sodium rather than calories.
Where these numbers come from
Every figure on this page is calculated from Five Guys' own official U.S. Nutrition & Allergen Guide. Each patty, bun, topping and sauce is stored with its own calories, fat, sodium, carbs and protein, and a build's totals are the sum of whatever is switched on — which is why changing a single topping updates every number, not just the calorie count.
